It's really confusing to understand the way authentication frontends/backends fit together when there is LoginPasswordBackend in src/authentic2/auth_frontends.py.

Donc il faudrait pouvoir filtrer en frontends d'authentification en fonction de certains critères (à définir) (authentic2/utils.py::get_backends) et les afficher sur la page de login.
À poser un regard frais sur Authentic, cette notion avec frontend backend ( méthode d'authentification), ça serait envisageable de lui faire adapter un nouveau nom, unique ?
(et cela sans approcher l'utilisation parallèle de backend pour signifier la partie stockage (backend model, backend ldap, src/authentic2/backends/))

Je serais pour un nom du genre "authenticator".

*Auth, j'aime pas les suffixes trop longs.

"authenticator" me paraît plus parlant car c'est le nom du verbe "authenticate", mais pourquoi pas "auth".

Je colle le patch rebasé à jour.
En plus les patchs pour les modules externes encore actifs pour suivre le nouveau nommage: auth-fc, auth-fedict, auth-kerberos.
